 24V Lithium & Lifepo4 Battery – Wide Range of Models and Customization Service
✅ 24V lithium batteries are mainly divided into two types: NCM lithium (ternary lithium) and LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate). Their actual voltages are around 25.9V for ternary lithium and 25.6V for LiFePO4. The concept of “24V” originally came from lead-acid batteries, which appeared and were widely used earlier. Later, when lithium batteries began replacing lead-acid in various applications, they were also labeled as “24V” for compatibility, even though the actual voltage is slightly different. This small difference does not affect the replacement or performance.
✅ Both 24V ternary lithium batteries and 24V LiFePO4 batteries have their own advantages. Ternary lithium offers higher energy density, meaning the battery pack can be lighter and smaller for the same capacity. In contrast, LiFePO4 batteries are heavier, but they provide superior safety, longer cycle life, and better thermal stability. For smaller battery packs such as 8Ah, 10Ah, or 30Ah, manufacturers often choose ternary lithium due to its compact size. On the other hand, for large-capacity battery packs like 100Ah, 200Ah, or even 1000Ah systems, LiFePO4 is the preferred choice thanks to its safety and reliability.

What is the Difference Between 24V, 25.6V, and 25.9V Lithium Batteries?
✅ The 25.6V li-ion battery is an 8s configuration, while the 25.9V battery is a 7s ternary lithium battery. Both are typically used for 24V motors, so they are commonly referred to as 24V lithium batteries. Since LiFePO4 cells have a lower voltage of 3.2V compared to 3.7V for ternary lithium cells, a 24V lfp battery requires 8 cells in series, whereas a ternary lithium battery only needs 7s. 
Is it Possible to Connect two 12V Lithium Batteries to form a 24V Lithium Battery?
✅ Connecting two 12V lithium batteries in series requires a special BMS. Before customizing this type of battery, it is essential to specify the requirement. we can assemble a matched battery pack with the proper BMS. Of course, We don't recommend customers to arbitrarily connect lithium batterie, as it is extremely dangerous. 
Can You Make a Long-Lifespan 24V LiFePO4 Lithium Battery?

Can I Connect Two 12V Lithium Batteries in Series to Get 24V?
While lead-acid batteries can be freely connected in series, lithium batteries require a special BMS (Battery Management System) for safe series connection. If you need a 24V lithium battery built from two 12V batteries, you should inform the manufacturer before production so the battery is designed for series use. Using standard 12V lithium batteries in series without a compatible BMS may damage the battery.
How Long Does It Take to Fully Charge a 24V Lithium Battery?
Charging time depends on the battery capacity and the charger’s output current. For example, a 24V 20Ah lithium battery charged from empty with a 5A charger will take about 5 hours, plus 1 extra hour for the final trickle charge stage. The formula is: Charging time = Battery capacity / Charger current + 1 hour. The additional time ensures the battery reaches full capacity, as charging current gradually decreases toward the end.
